Baci di Dama Cookies

Happy Holidays!!!!!

Some friends and I made a few types of cookies for the holidays.  These Baci di Dama cookies are FABULOUS! These are Italian cookies and translates to “lady kisses”.  I never had these cookies before, but they really were delicious so I’ll have to make these again.

We used David Lebovitz’s Baci di Dama recipe.  Since we made several types of cookies we didn’t allow these to cool in the fridge for the recommended 2-3 hours.  We probably let them cool for about an hour while we made some other cookies. (NOTE: we used all-purpose flour)

I think these would also be great with Nutella as a filling.
